Accreditation Check:
This course by Dr. Alexis Wright is designed to introduce a proposed paradigm for the examination and treatment of patients with lower quarter musculoskeletal dysfunction. This course begins with a general patient history and discusses key components of the subjective exam to assist the clinician in directing their examination. Medical screening for red flags in the diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal pain is discussed as it relates to signs and symptoms of the lower quarter. Traditional components of a lower quarter screening examination are discussed with the purpose of ruling out red flags and identifying the patient’s concordant sign. Following a general overview of the component of a lower quarter screen, a live patient examination and treatment is performed.
