Presented by Jennifer Kennedy and Adrienne Nova

This course is a recording of a previously hosted live webinar event. Polling and question submission features are not available for this recording. Format and structure may differ from those of standard Medbridge courses.
The CAHPS® Hospice Survey is a national survey of family members or friends who cared for a patient who died while under hospice care, and CMS has recently announced upcoming updates to the survey for 2025 and beyond. Considering the sensitive nature of this survey, preparing your nursing staff to understand the new measures will be essential when conducting the survey that will begin implementation with April decedents. VP for Quality and Standards at Community Health Accreditation Partner (CHAP) Jennifer Kennedy, EdD, MA, BSN, RN, CHC will explain the new changes, including updates to survey measures and distribution. Then she’ll share strategies to ensure survey implementation is conducted successfully and compassionately, as participation is required for Medicare-certified hospices as part of the Hospice Quality Reporting Program (HQRP) to ensure compliance and maintain reimbursement.
