Nancy Allen, BSN, RNC, CMC

Nancy Allen Instructor Bio:
Nancy E. Allen, BSN, RNC, CMC, is the owner and CEO of Solutions for Care, Inc., a consulting company specializing in community based healthcare and care management. Her years of experience include, clinical, administrative, provider, and ten years as a state and accreditation surveyor.

Nancy is a certified Clinical Specialist in Home Health with the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and a Certified Care Manager. She served as a Corporate Integrity Monitor for the Office of Inspector General for over four years. Nancy was qualified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) as a state surveyor and has been a Medicare Hearing Officer for the Medicare Fair Hearing Department of CMS, where she conducted and adjudicated federal administrative hearings.

With a team from the University of Hawaii, she serves as an educator and resource to the Ministry of Health in the Republic of Palau in the development of home health and is currently assisting in the development of community based healthcare for American Samoa. She is a contributing author to the Handbook for Home Health Administration and numerous articles in national healthcare publications. Her book, Survivor! Ten Practical Steps to Survey Survival, has helped many achieve deficiency-free surveys.
