Aimee E. Perron, PT, DPT, NCS, CEEAA, received her BS in Health Studies and MS in Physical Therapy from Boston University, and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. She achieved American Physical Therapy Association Board Certification as a Neurologic Clinical Specialist in 2008. She has more than 20 years of experience in a multitude of clinical settings, the majority of the experience being with older adults and people with neuromuscular deficits. She also has extensive training and is certified as a geriatric Certified Exercise Expert for the Aging Adult (CEEAA), in neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT), and in LSVT BIG.
Aimee is currently a Regional Clinical Director for Genesis Rehabilitation Services (GRS), where her primary role is in supporting evidence-based service delivery and top of license practice throughout New England. She also serves as a GRS Master Clinician in Neurology and Strength Training for the Older Adult. In addition, Aimee is lab instructor for Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions for the entry-level DPT program neurological courses. She has conducted nationwide seminars on the assessment and treatment of patients with neurological deficits, spasticity management, balance challenges, and strength training, as well as on aging adults.
