Ms. Snecinski has bachelor's and master's degrees in music and an MBA in health care administration from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, FL. She has had seventeen years of hospital administration and management experience and more than seventeen years of consulting experience in post-acute levels of care, including inpatient and outpatient therapy, sports medicine, occupational health, home health/hospice, LTCH, and LTC/skilled nursing. She is the president of Post Acute Advisors, an Atlanta-based consulting practice with a nationwide client base. The firm’s project work focuses on compliance, operational assessment, accreditation assistance, and education and training for clinical and medical staff. Activities within the compliance service line include compliance plan development and verification; medical record audits for compliance and medical necessity; denial appeal assistance; coding review, focusing on accurate coding; and identifying potential opportunities for improved coding. In order to best support this practice, she has obtained additional training and education in coding and compliance, and maintains professional membership in the American College of Health Care Executives, the Health Care Compliance Association, and the American Health Information Management Association.
Ms. Snecinski frequently is a speaker at national and location conferences for post acute providers and has authored multiple articles for professional journals including the chapter for post acute providers in the RAC Readiness Manual for the Georgia Hospital Association.
